Professor Russell Belk (York University has more than 650 publications, including more than 30 in the Journal of Consumer Research. His research involves the extended self, meanings of possessions, collecting, gift-giving, sharing, digital consumption, and materialism.  He is currently on the editorial boards of 20 journals and is Associate Editor of the Journal of Consumer Research. He is past president of the Association for Consumer Research and the International Association of Marketing and Development, and is a fellow in the Association for Consumer Research and the American Psychological Association. It tends to be qualitative, cultural, and visual.  He has received the Paul D. Converse Award, two Fulbright Fellowships, the Sheth Foundation/Journal of Consumer Research Award for Long Term Contribution and is a Fellow in ACR, APA, the Royal Society of Canada. He has won the Outstanding Reviewer Award multiple times.

Professor Debbie Keeling is Associate Dean of Engagement in the University of Sussex. She is the Regional Editor of the European Journal of Marketing. She has authored more than 100 scientific papers, public and private reports and chapters and regularly speaks at national and international events, including Practice-Based Leadership Forums in the USA and Australia. Her research on consumer psychology and new technologies has been published in journals such as Journal of interactive marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Psychology & Marketing or Journal of Services Marketing.

Professor Ko de Ruyter is Professor of Marketing at King’s Business School. His research focuses on customer loyalty, marketing strategy, technology on the organizational frontline and social media. He has been awarded a life-time achievement by the American Marketing Association. He is passionate about the practical relevance of his research and its value for businesses and their customers.
